The Start of the Journey

Welcome to the inaugural entry of this blog. Recently, I felt the need to establish an official platform for my artistic content. Unlike my usual social media accounts for politics or the gaming channel on YouTube, where I share memes and gaming videos, this space will mostly feature my original creative works, those of my friends, and highlights from my collections, such as old coins, collectibles or art pieces. The primary purpose of this website is to serve as a repository for my stories and other artistic endeavors. Regular postings will not be the norm on this platform unless the content is primarily centered around art, collections, or if I am announcing an upcoming release. The plan, for now, is to write stories and make them publicly available to read on a page (or pages) here on this blog. This allows people to read my work for free—if a user doesn't use adblock, I could generate revenue from advertisement. My intent: to share my work with anyone looking for a new creat...

Cor: The Story

Cor is a series of novelettes written by Luis Albert Rosales. The story takes you on a journey that touches on various concepts, such as religion, politics, drama, fantasy, and science. The fiction can be described as a Science Fantasy—it includes elements of fantasy-driven stories with some scientific explanation in a futuristic world.

You primarily follow a man named Aulus through his journey as he tries to understand himself in an ever-changing political climate filled with war and deceit. He and his friends journey across the realms to help him understand why things are falling apart—as they are. Through his journey, he unleashes unknown powers and becomes increasingly incapable of controlling them as another entity seems to be evolving inside him. Little does he know that some of his newfound powers stem from this being.

The world is complex politically, but that is driven by the complexities of the genetic traits of humans on this planet. There are four main species of humans on this planet, and they all reflect genetic benefits that make them different from others. Due to their differences, there is a natural tension between all these 'races' of humans. Their differences are what tend to lead their societies into conflict.

Aulus tries to do what he can with the information he has, but will he be able to keep up with the world?
